(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball team fell to the Bellevue University Bruins on Friday afternoon in their home opener games.

Game 1- Peru State 0 – Bellevue 1
The Bobcats shut out the Bruins for the first four innings.
Jessica Filkin started out pitching for the Bobcats. She pitched for five innings and had three strikeouts. Filkin was only charged with one run on four Bruin hits.

The Bobcats had five hits in game one against the Bruins.
Ellie Ohlde had two hits for the Bobcats.
Kylee Dieckmann,
Kaylee Harsh and Autmn Dixon each had a hit.

Game 2- Peru State 0 – Bellevue 3

The Bobcats started out game two keeping the Bruins from scoring for the first two innings.

The Bobcats had five hits against the Bruins with Kylee Dieckman,
Ellie Ohlde and
Alanea Babb each having one hit.
Kaylee Harsh had two hits for the Bobcats.

Emberlyn Medsker started and pitched five innings for the Bobcats getting five strikeouts. Medsker allowed seven hits with three runs.
Emily Vannatta pitched two innings for the Bobcats having two strikeouts.
