(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball team split with the MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers on Saturday afternoon in Olathe, Kansas.

The Bobcats scored the first run of their matchup with the Pioneers in the second inning after a single by
Alanea Babb singled with the bases loaded. The Pioneers managed to take and hold a one-point lead as the Bobcats went into their last at bat in the seventh inning.
Jami Mans was walked to score
Sophia Summers to tie up the game. LeAnn Hawkins was then hit by a pitch to advance
Danielle Houlden home to take the win.

Emberlyn Medsker pitched four innings for the Bobcats, only allowing three hits and one run. Medsker also tallied a Pioneer strikeout.
Emily Vannatta pitched three innings getting charged with three hits and only one run, also having a strikeout for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats held the Pioneers to only one run in the first three innings. The Bobcats had five hits in game two with
Kylee Dieckmann,
Ellie Ohlde and
Autumn Dixon each having one hit.
Jami Mans added two hits for the Bobcats.

Jessica Filkin pitched four innings getting charged with four hits and three runs but having a Pioneer strikeout.
Emily Vannatta pitched three innings for the Bobcats allowing four hits and five runs.
