(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State College Bobcats faced off against the Grand View Vikings on December 4, 2024, and endured a tough game, concluding with a final score of 85-46 in favor of Grand View.
The game began on a high intensity note, but by halftime, the Bobcats trailed behind with a score of 52-21. Grand View maintained their lead throughout the game, building up to an 40-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Despite the setback, several Bobcat players showed commendable performances.
Erison Vonderschmidt led the scoring for Peru State with 10 points, complemented by 8 rebounds and a steal.
Kylie Diaz also demonstrated versatility by securing 9 points, leading in rebounds with 7, and achieving a team-high 4 assists along with 2 steals. Other notable performances included
Natasha Deal with 6 points and
Savannah Bingham rounding out the team effort with 5 points and 6 rebounds.
