(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Women's Basketball Team defeated the McPherson College Bulldogs on Friday night, 67-60.

The Bobcat started slow as the Bulldogs took a small lead early. The team had 13 rebounds in the first quarter as the Bulldogs had a 14-11 lead after the first. Xytlaly had five points in the second quarter as the Bobcats closed the gap to only one point as the Bulldogs led 26-25, going into halftime.

Savannah Bingham gave the Bobcats the lead to begin the third quarter.
Kylie Diaz had six points with two rebounds in the quarter as the team extended their lead to seven points going into the final quarter. The Bobcats didn't let up as they held back the Bulldogs from trying to take back the lead. The Bobcats take their second win of season 67-60.

Xytalaly Reyes led the Bobcats statistically with 13 points, four rebounds, and one assist and steal.
Hailey Ingram had eleven points with three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
MaKinley Tobey also had 11 points, adding two rebounds and two assists.
Savannah Bingham had eight points and seven rebounds for the Bobcats.
