(Baldwin City, Kan.)- The Peru State Women's Basketball Team defeated the Baker Wildcats in a thrilling game on Tuesday night, 69-65. The Bobcats are now 2-3 in the Heart of America Conference and 4-5 overall.

The Bobcats struggled early, trailing 29-41 at halftime, despite
Hailey Ingram's nine points and two steals and
Kylie Diaz's six points and four rebounds.
Baker extended their lead to 15 in the third quarter, with Ingram adding five points and three rebounds and Diaz contributing five points and two rebounds. Heading into the fourth, the Wildcats led 56-46.
In the final period, the Bobcats mounted a fierce comeback.
Erison Vonderschmidt led the charge with 11 points and three rebounds, while Ingram and Diaz each added six points. The Bobcats closed the gap and sealed the win with a 69-65 victory.
Ingram finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, and two steals, while Diaz had 17 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
Natasha Deal had 11 points, three rebounds and two steals with
Erison Vonderschmidt also having 11 points, four rebounds and one block.
