(Peru, Neb.)- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Fall Sports Scholar-Athletes on Monday, November 25. The Peru State Football team had eight athletes earn the award.

Student-Athletes must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have reached the eligibility requirements and been at their institution for a year to be qualified for the award.

Ziggy Washington (So., Pleasantville, N.J.),
Lander Imbimbo (Jr., Newhaven, United Kingdom) and
MJ Nelson (Fr., Nebraska City, NE) earned the award for the second time.

Colin Shields (Sr., Wichita, KS),
Kemper Reed (So., Waverly, NE),
Brody McBee (So., Independence, MO),
Jeremiah Collier (So., Lincoln, NE) and
Quinton Rowell (Jr., Raytown, MO) each earned the award for the first time.
