(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Women's Basketball Team fell to RV MidAmerica Nazarene on Wednesday night, 51-90. The Bobcats are now 1-2 in the Heart of America Conference and 3-4 overall.
The Bobcats started slow in the first quarter, trailing 52-24 at halftime despite
Savannah Bingham contributing five points and two rebounds.
In the third quarter,
Natasha Deal provided a spark, hitting a three-pointer to open the half, but the Bobcats were unable to close the gap.
In the final period,
Xytlaly Reyes scored six points, and Bingham added five points and three rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Pioneers' as the Bobcats fell 51-90.
Savannah Bingham had 15 points, nine rebounds and one steal for the Bobcats.
Natasha Deal had 10 points and one rebound with
Xytlaly Reyes having nine points and two rebounds.
Kylie Diaz added six points and four rebounds against the Pioneers.
