(St. Louis, Mo.)- The Peru State swept the University of Health Sciences Pharmacy (UHSP) Eutectics in a non-conference match in St. Louis on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats are now 8-13 overall this season.

The Bobcats stopped the Eutectics early in the first set. With the help of five kills from
Kennedy Miller and four kills from
Eden Moore and Raevyn Russel. Russel and
Emily Sherman had two aces in the first set as the Bobcats won the set, 25-14.

In the second set, the Bobcats battled with the Eutectics throughout the set before pulling away with the lead. Raevyn Russel had three kills with
Kennedy Miller and
Eden Moore having three kills as the Bobcats pulled away and won the set, 25-19.

The Bobcats struggled at the beginning of set three finding themselves 7-15 deficit. The team didn't give up though and began fighting to close the gap. With the help of four kills from Raevyn Russel, three kills from
Eden Moore and
Kalolaine Pasikala and three blocks from
Kennedy Miller and
Eden Moore, the Bobcats won the set 25-22.

Raevyn Russel led the Bobcats with 13 kills, 12 digs and two service aces.
Eden Moore had 10 kills and three assisted blocks in the match.
Kennedy Miller had eight kills, four blocks and two digs with
Kalyssa Fox adding five kills for the Bobcats.

Allie Schnider had 27 assists and eight digs against the Eutectics.
Samantha Chesley had eight assists, two digs and two service aces.
Ryan White added eight digs for the Bobcats.
Kalolaine Pasikala had seven digs and three kills.
