(Wichita, Kan.)- The Peru State Baseball team played their first set of games at Friends University on January 26 and 27th in Wichita, Kansas. The Bobcats went 0-3 on the weekend.

Game 1- Peru State 8 – Friends 15
The Bobcats started out strong, scoring seven in the first three innings.

Blake Denson had three hits against the Falcons.
Xavier Solla,
Ivan Medina,
Gustavo Rivera,
Wesley Bradford and
Efrain Torres had two hits each.
Antonio Benitez and
Randy Jimenez also each had a hit. The Bobcats also had five RBI's.

Kevin Diaz pitched four innings for the Bobcats, allowing five hits and five runs but also having three strikeouts.
Tobin Wingender pitched 1.1 innings, only allowing two hits and having a strikeout but allowing four runs.
Cody Grauerholz pitched one inning with one it and two runs.

Game 2- Peru State 4 – Friends 16

The Falcons scored 16 in the first four innings against the Bobcats.

Angel Andrades was the first to score for the Bobcats after a single to right field by
Xavier Solla.
Doel Pina hit a homerun to center, also scoring
Antonio Benitez and
Xavier Solla.

Josue Vega pitched two innings, allowing six hits and eight runs.
Dylan Pavletich pitched two innings with 10 hits and eight runs along with
Blake Denson pitching two innings with two hits.

Game 3- Peru State 3 – Friends 10

The Bobcats scored five in the seventh inning.

Ivan Medina scored the first run for the Bobcats with a home run.
Xavier Solla grounded out to second but
Randy Jimenez.
Antonio Benitez has a single to shortstop scoring
Blake Denson.

Casey Ogden pitched four innings allowing seven hits and seven runs while having three strikeouts.
Garrett Pavletich pitched two innings allowing three hits and three runs.
