Here's what assistant coach Gianfranco Garlobo said about the series:

"Tough series lost against the number nine team in the nation," said Garlobo. "We had several chances of taking leads and winning some of the games but never capitalized."

Garlobo continued…

"The offense had a decent week with nine home runs and 35 runs in five games. Defensively we still have some areas that need to improve, and the pitching showed some really good signs at some moments during the series."

The Bobcats will hit the road once again as they head to Kansas to take on McPherson for a four-game series this Saturday and Sunday. Peru State is looking for their first win of the season.
