(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State softball coach
JL Thomason and staff recently announced that Ellie Gonzalez
(Grand Island, Neb.) signed her national letter of intent to join the Bobcat softball program this fall.
Gonzalez is a recent graduate from Grand Island Senior High School. She is the daughter of Brooke and Raul Gonzalez. Gonzalez will be a utility player for the 'Cats.

During her athletic career at Grand Island, Gonzalez earned varsity letters in softball and track. In addition, she was a high academic student athlete for the Islanders.
Gonzalez plans on majoring in biology and minoring in psychology at Peru State in the fall.
