(Peru, Neb.) – Prior to their final regular season game against William Penn (Iowa), the Peru State athletic department, men's basketball team and coaches, fans, and others gave recognition to their seven-member senior class.
The Bobcat coaches recognized each senior with a gift as they were introduced along with their parents, friends, and/or siblings. The seniors were introduced in order of their time in a Peru State uniform. The information listed below under each senior's name is a combination of what was shared via the announcer's script about each that day, as well as, the information from the program insert.

#42 Julius Sakinis
Julius Sakinis is our first senior to be recognized. He is being escorted by Skip and Monica Welsh who were his host parents when he played his high school ball at nearby Lourdes Central Catholic. Unfortunately, Julius was not able to play this season due to a medical condition but was always a constant at practice and on the bench supporting his team.
(Program insert information) – Klaipeda, Lithuania, it is the third largest city in Lithuania and is the capital of Klaipeda County, and is home for
Julius Sakinis. Julius came to Peru State after he transferred from Newman University. He played high school ball at Lourdes Central Catholic High School. He is the son of Daiva Sakiniene and Virgis Sakinis and is a business management major. After graduation he plans to pursue a career in a field of business while being a role model to the younger generation all while serving his passion to help others. One of his many Bobcat memories is just being a part of a Bobcat family, being surrounded by kind and loving people.

#1 O'Nandi Brooks
Our second senior to be recognized tonight is
O'Nandi Brooks who came to Peru State from Hudson Valley Community College. O'Nandi has played in 20 games this season and has scored 41 points, grabbed 48 rebounds, dished out 11 assists, blocked eight shots, and grabbed eight steals.
(Program insert information) – Crown Heights is a neighborhood in the central portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is also the hometown of
O'Nandi Brooks. O'Nandi went to Hudson Valley Community College after graduating from George Westinghouse HS before committing to become of Bobcat. He is the son of Oral Brooks and Millicent Bryan. O'Nandi is a Criminal Justice major and plans to join the Nebraska correction service as a corrections office. In addition, he would like to be a men's clothing designer.

#3 Devon Colley
Our third senior to be recognized tonight,
Devon Colley, is being escorted by his father, Benny Colley. He is currently second on the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game having scored 405 points this season. He has also grabbed 4.9 rebounds per contest and has dished out 153 assists – the team's best by almost double the margin. Devon also leads the team in steals with 41 and has also blocked nine shots. He currently is ranked in the NAIA in two categories with his total assists being 12
th-best in the country at this time. Those 153 assists in just one season puts him 20
th on the Peru State all-time career assists list.
(Program insert information) – Las Vegas, Nev., has many nicknames, one of which is "City of Lights" and is home for
Devon Colley. Devon transferred in from Tampa University after he attended Las Vegas High School. He is the son of Benny and Sandy Colley. Devon is majoring in Business. His plans after graduation are to earn a pro basketball contract. One of his favorite 'Cats memories was officially becoming a Bobcat and then being able to put the team jersey on every game day.

#23 Nick Brannon
Our next senior to be recognized is
Nick Brannon who is competing in his first competitive season for Peru State after being here last year. He is being escorted by his father Melvin, him mother Lisa, and other family members. Nick is presently third on the team in scoring averaging 10.9 points per contest. He is averaging 7.5 rebounds per game which actually leads the team at this point. Currently Nick is ranked in two different NAIA individual categories. His offensive rebounds is currently 25
th-best. At the end of the year, Nick will be a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
(Program insert information) – Las Vegas, Nev., Is an internationally renowned major resort city, known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. It is home for
Nick Brannon. Nick transferred to Peru State College from Saddleback Community College. He went to Valley High School in Vegas. He is the son of Melvyn Brannon and Lisa Graham and is majoring in business administration. After graduation he plans on getting his master's degree. One of his favorite Bobcat memories was from last year when the team won the conference tournament title and getting the automatic berth to the national tournament.

#12 Drew Switzer
Our fifth Bobcat senior to be recognized is
Drew Switzer – a two-year member of the Peru State team. He is being escorted by his parents Marla and Roger. Drew has played in 29 games in his career and scored 38 points, grabbed 24 rebounds, dished out nine assists, and has four steals. His career high in scoring came this season when he had seven points against Concordia. At the end of this year, Drew will be a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
(Program insert information) – Casper, Wyo., has the nickname "The Oil City" and is where
Drew Switzer calls home. He came to Peru State after playing JUCO ball at Central Wyoming College. Prior to that, he graduated from Natrona County High School. Drew is the son of Marla and Roger Switzer. His major is business administration and marketing. After graduation Drew has plans to work in sales in the Omaha area and hopes to have a position secured soon. One of his favorite Bobcat memories is from last year when the team won the Heart of America Conference Tournament title, and received an automatic bid to the National Tournament in Kansas City.

#11 Deonte McReynolds
The sixth senior to be honored tonight is another two-year player –
Deonte McReynolds. He is being escorted by his former teammates Terry Moore and
Jamil Maddred. In his two years in a Bobcat uniform, Deonte has scored 395 points, has grabbed 141 rebounds, dished out 52 assists, nabbed 35 steals, and blocked three shots. He had 15 points Wednesday night against Graceland which was this year's season-high. Last year, his season-best scoring was 22 against Mid-America Nazarene. Last summer, Deonte was the first Peru State player to be named as an Emil S Liston winner for the Heart of America Athletic Conference. At the end of the year, he will be a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
(Program insert information) – Located on the shores of freshwater Lake Michigan, Chicago is home to
Deonte McReynolds. Deonte went to high school at Hubbard before committing to Morton College for two years before coming to the Bobcat Nation to play. The son of Kimberly Grant and Erskine McReynolds is an accounting major and plans to attend graduate school seeking his master's degree in accounting while throwing in some entrepreneurship courses as well. One of his favorite Bobcat memories was from last year when the team won the conference tournament title and getting the automatic berth to the national tournament.

#22 Noah Vasa
Our last player to be recognized is our only three-year team member –
Noah Vasa – and he is being accompanied by his parents Dr. Brad and Jo Vasa. During his career Noah has played in 83 games and has the following totals – 444 points, 291 rebounds, 25 assists, 22 steals, and 88 blocks. The 88 blocks ties him for third on Peru State's all-time career blocked shots list. His 36 blocks this season ties for eighth in a single-season. Noah is presently listed in two NAIA Individual categories with his 1.44 blocks per game currently 16
th in the country.
(Program insert information) – Nebraska City, Neb., has been credited by the Nebraska State Legislature as being the oldest incorporated city in the state and is home to
Noah Vasa. Noah came to Peru State from Lourdes Central Catholic High School. He is the son of Brad and Jo Vasa and is a biology education major with a coaching endorsement. After graduating from Peru State he plans on becoming a teacher. One of his favorite Bobcat memories is from 2018 when the 'Cats beat The Masters in OT 106-104 in the first round of the National Tournament.
