Breast Cancer Awareness

The double header day was designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Day by the Bobcat softball team and was spear-headed by Massengale.  All of the Bobcat players wore pink socks and had pink bows in their hair.  A collection was taken and will be designated with the proceeds going to help support research in the cause.

Upcoming Games

Mother Nature permitting, the Bobcats will play in Atchison, Kan., on Sunday against the Benedictine College Ravens.  This is a rescheduled make-up date with the double header scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

Then, on Thursday, Peru State will be participating in the HAAC Post-Season Championship in Olathe, Kan.  All eight teams making the tourney will play one game on Thursday at 4 p.m.  Then, all eight will play Friday morning at 11 a.m. with two of the teams being eliminated in the double elimination tournament.

The 'Cats will be seeded no lower than sixth and could finish as the fifth seed, dependent on whether they can play on Sunday.
