Bobcat Men Fall Just Short Against Benedictine

(Peru, Neb.) – A late rally by the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat men's basketball team fell short on Thursday night against the Benedictine College Ravens.

After getting within one at 57-56 with 31 seconds left on a three-pointer by Nate Bohy (Mesa, Ariz.) on an assist from Derrick Williams (St. Joseph, Mo.), the 'Cats had a chance to go ahead after forcing a Raven turnover.  However, a PSC shot failed, Benedictine grabbed the rebound and Peru State was forced to foul.  The Raven hit both free throws; making it 59-56 and a last-second three-pointer by PSC did not find the mark, allowing Benedictine to escape with the win.
