Peru State College Athletics

Two Bobcat basketball players are being recognized as the Peru State Athletes of the Month for February. Junior guard Jackie Robles (Parlier, Calif.) and junior forward Kris Frazier (Cleveland) were recently noted as the honorees by Peru State athletic director Steve Schneider.
 
Robles joined the team this fall and was one of two Bobcat women’s basketball players to earn Honorable Mention recognition by the Heart of America Athletic Conference at the end of the regular season. She finished second on the team in scoring with 9.9 points per game and second in rebounding with 4.7 rebounds per contest.
 
At the end of the season, Robles finished 12^th in NAIA Division I individual rankings in three-point field goal percentage as she made 43.3% of her attempts.

Schneider stated, “Congrats to both Jackie and Kris for gaining this honor as well as Heart recognition. Jackie had an important role on this year’s women’s basketball team while Kris and his teammates will continue with their season next week in KC.”
