Peru State athletic director Wayne Albury recently announced the selection of Kassidy Haberman (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Devin Adams (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) as the Bobcat Athletes of the Month for December.
Haberman recently made Peru State women’s bowling history as the sophomore became the first Bobcat women’s bowler to be named to an all-tournament team. She finished fourth in the Morningside Invitational in early December by having an average of 178.8 per game and netted her the all-tournament honor. Haberman had games of 155, 213, 158, 181, 176, and 190.
Adams earned his second-straight athlete of the month honor as he became the first Bobcat in eight years to earn All-America First Team honors. He has named to the American Football Coaches Association First Team Defense. Adams finished third on the Bobcat team with 43 total tackles – nine of which were solo. In addition, he led the team in sacks with seven and tackles for loss with 17. Adams was named as the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart) North Division Defensive Player of the Year.
Albury commented, “With Kassidy making history and Devin earning All-America honors, it was clear they were top choices for the December Athletes of the Month.”
