Marisa Pribnow (Lincoln) and Adam Quintana (Highland, Calif.) were recently named as the Peru State Bobcat Athletes of the Month for April. The honors were announced by athletic director Steve Schneider.
For two consecutive weeks, Quintana was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. A 6-3 senior, Quintana threw eight innings against Avila University while earning a win and a save while allowing no earned runs. In the eight innings, Quintana struck out 13 Eagle batters.

The following week, Quintana picked up his third honor of the season as he also received the recognition in March. Quintana had an earned run average of 0.00 after throwing seven innings of shutout ball for a win over Baker. In the win, Quintana allowed just three hits and struck out 12 batters.
