Peru State College Athletics

Karlee Stuart was named recently by Peru State athletic director Steve Schneider as the female Bobcat Athlete of the Month of January.

Stuart was selected as the female athlete for her consistent play in the month of January for the Bobcat women’s basketball team. She had four double-doubles in the month and averaged 11.44 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Stuart’s highest scoring game was against Culver-Stockton College where she put in 17 points. In the games against Graceland University and Missouri Valley College, Stuart grabbed 13 rebounds in each game. Stuart also added eight assists, nine steals, and blocked six shots.

Currently, Stuart is the team’s leading rebounder averaging 6.50 boards per game and also leads the team in blocked shots at 0.55 per game. At present, Stuart is 47^th in the NAIA Division I in offensive rebounds per game (3.000).
