Peru State College Athletics

    Riley Shaw enters her second season as assistant coach for Peru State in the 25-26 season. In the 24-25 season, she helped lead the varsity program to an 8-20 record. She also led the varsity reserve program to a 4-6 record. Shaw comes to Peru State from Chadron State College where she played and served as a student assistant coach.

    As a student assistant she assisted with game preparation, statistics and assisted with drills and practice organization. Coach Shaw also made player substitutions during games. Coach Shaw completed a Division II men’s and women’s basketball internship while at Chadron State. 

    While at Chadron State, Coach Shaw was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. (SAAC). She was also a member of the Chadron State Athlete Mental Health Council. Coach Shaw is originally from Lusk, Wyoming and graduated from Niobrara County High School. Shaw graduated from Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management and a minor in Business.
