Peru State College Athletics

Erison Vonderschmidt is a sophomore, psychology major from Falls City, Nebraska. Vonderschmidt graduated from Falls City Sacred Heart High School where she played volleyball, basketball and track. She also played elite club beach volleyball. Erison earned Pioneer Conference Second-Team and First-Team honors, Lincoln Journal Star All-State Second-Team twice and First-Team Honorary Captain, Lincoln Journal Star State Volleyball second team while also making the All-Tournament team her senior year in Class D2 also making Omaha World Herald Nebraska State Volleyball All-Tournament team twice in Class D2. Erison was Mudecas Volleyball Honorable Mention, Mudecas Volleyball All-Tournament Team and was a Mudecas Volleyball Jane White All Tournament Teams-A Division First Team. In beach volleyball, Vonderschmidt was a National Beach Volleyball qualifier U16 twice also earning 33^rd place at nationals and was 1^st place National Qualifier Nebraska Beach Volleyball her senior year. She also has numerous All- Conference and athletic awards in basketball.
 
2023-24: Vonderschmidt played in 31 matches last season, having 314 kills for the team with 2.66 kills per set. She tallied 41 service aces and 359 digs, averaging 3.04 digs per set. Erison earned Second-Team All-Conference last season.
