Navy V-5/V-12 Athletes

For over two years during World War II Peru State Teachers College was one of 131 colleges and universities to host the United States of America Navy V-5 aviation cadet program and V-12 officer training program. These men were the majority of the Bobcat athletes from 1943-1945. Without these men, the history and spirit of Bobcat athletics would have been lost for those years. Peru State College acknowledges the sacrifices made by the men in the V-5 and V-12 programs for Peru State College and our country.
