(Moravia, Iowa.)- The Peru State College golf team had traveled two squads to take on Simpson and Southwestern Community College who competed as individuals at The William Penn Fall Statesmen Shootout which was hosted at The Preserve On Rathbun Lake on Wednesday. The Bobcat squads placed second and third out of three teams in competition, the A team logged a scorecard of 418 while team B shot a 459.

Luci Dunkeson (Fort Scott, Kan.) led Peru State by carding a 92 to tie for eighth place while Lillian "Lilly" Barnes (Red Cloud, Neb.) rounded out the top ten by firing off a 97.
Maddie Kime (Clever, Mo.) recorded a 106 to claim 14
th place while
Ali Mueller (Columbus, Neb.) took a score of 123 to round out the scoring four and place 16
th,
Lexys Ruch (Reserve, Kan.) scored a 130 to place 17
th.

The Bobcat B squad was led by freshman duo
Molina Quintana (Topeka, Kan.) and
Audrey Campbell (Sidney, Neb.) who placed 12
th and 13
th overall, Quintana recorded a 102 while Campbell shot a 104 on the day.
Emma Teten (Rock Port, Mo.) recorded a 115 to place 15
th while
Lilly Carlson (Nebraska City, Neb.) finalized the scoring four with a 138,
Charlotte Smith (Omaha, Neb.) recorded a 145 in competition.

Simpson took home the team title with a scorecard of 313, and Storm golfer Addison Brink won the individual by firing off a 73 to claim first.

Peru State returns to the course on Saturday when the Bobcats travel to Lamoni, Iowa to compete in the Graceland Fall Invitational. Tee Time is scheduled for 10:00 A.M.
