(Lawrence, Kan.)- The Peru State College women's bowling team competed at the NAIA West Regional in Lawrence, Kansas, earning a fifth-place finish with a total of 4,519 pins across five team games.
The Bobcats opened the tournament with games of 860 and 843 before finding their rhythm late in the day. Peru State rolled scores of 938, 928, and a tournament-best 950 in the final game to close out competition on a strong note.
Individually, Aleia Crandall led the way for the Bobcats, finishing sixth overall with a five-game total of 968 pins and a 193.6 average. Crandall posted games of 195, 170, 212, 196, and 195 to pace Peru State.
Adria Huiett placed 15th with a total of 925 pins and a 185 average, highlighted by a 216 game. Makenzie Millard finished 18th with 914 pins (182.8 average), delivering a steady performance throughout the event.
Ashley Pfeifer secured 28th place with 874 pins and a 174.8 average, finishing strong with games of 194 and 202. Lindsay Niemann rounded out the Bobcat lineup in 38th place, tallying 838 pins for a 167.6 average.
