Lawrence, Kan. – The Peru State volleyball team pulled out a thrilling five-set victory on the road Wednesday, defeating Haskell Indian Nations 3-2 (25-27, 25-18, 25-23, 25-27, 15-5).

After dropping a tight opening set, the Bobcats responded with a dominant second frame, hitting .343 as a team and evening the match. Peru State carried that momentum into the third, where a balanced attack helped the Bobcats edge out a 25-23 win. Haskell rallied to take the fourth set in extra points, forcing a decisive fifth. The Bobcats wasted no time in the finale, racing to a 15-5 victory behind aggressive serving and efficient offense.

Eden Moore led the way with 15 kills and five service aces, finishing with 20.5 points. Kalo Pasikala and Brinley Falkinburg each tallied 13 kills, while Falkinburg also added 13 digs. Setter Tatum Peterson ran the offense with 43 assists and 10 digs, recording a double-double. Libero Braelyn Braithwaite anchored the back row with a team-high 20 digs.

As a team, Peru State recorded 63 kills on .249 hitting, 10 service aces, and 85 digs.
