(Peru, Neb.)- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their 2025 CSC Academic All-District Softball Teams. The Peru State Softball team had five athletes earn the award.

The 2025 Academic All-District® At-Large, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. In the At-Large program, nominations are limited to six nominee per gender per school. The included sports are Competitive Cheer, Competitive Dance, Men's and Women's Bowling and Golf.

Student-Athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and compete in the required percent of competitions accordance to their sports.

The Women's All-District team was made up of Kaitylyn Doyal (Jr., Topeka, Kan.),
Makenzie Millard (Jr., Topeka, Kan.),
Aleia Crandall (Jr., Lincoln, Neb.) and
Mindy Bartels (Jr., Lincoln, Neb.) of the Women's Bowling team. They were joined by Competitive Cheerleader
Grace Greenwood (Sr., Chappell, Neb.) and Golfer
Carly Johnson (Sr., Schuyler, Neb.).

On the men's side, Competitive Cheerleaders Quinton Rowell (Jr., Raytown, Mo.) and
Kohl Rutherford (So., Maywood, Neb.) were each named to the All-District Team.
