(Fayette, Mo.)- The Peru State Baseball Team completed their season at Nationally Ranked #23 Central Methodist on April 25
th and 26
th. The Bobcats finished the season 12-20 in the Heart of America Conference and 18-31 overall.

Game 1 (Peru State 0 – Central Methodist 1)

The Bobcats faced a tough outing at the plate, managing just two hits in the game with one each from
Antonio Benitez and
Garrett Pavletich.

On the mound,
Kevin Diaz delivered a strong performance, striking out five batters while allowing only four hits.

Game 2 (Peru State 1 – Central Methodist 8)

Antonio Benitez put the Bobcats on the board with a solo home run to left field in the fourth inning, delivering the team's only run of the game. The Bobcats tallied three hits overall, with Benitez collecting two and
Jackson Lynch adding one.

On the mound,
Blake Urwin got the start for the Bobcats. He recorded one strikeout and allowed three runs during his outing.

Game 3 (Peru State 0 – Central Methodist 15)

The Bobcats faced a tough challenge in Game Three against the Eagles, managing just four hits throughout the game.
Antonio Benitez,
Xavier Solla,
Garrett Pavletich, and
Jomar Perez each contributed a hit for the Bobcats' offense.

Blake Denson delivered as the starting pitcher. He limited the Eagles to seven hits and recorded three strikeouts, keeping the game within reach.

Game 4 (Peru State 5 – Central Methodist 12)

 The Bobcats came out strong in the first inning, with
Tyson Fancher ripping a double to drive in
Antonio Benitez, followed by a clutch single from
Garrett Pavletich that brought Fancher home. The offense kept rolling in the fifth, as Benitez launched a solo home run to extend the lead.

In the seventh, the Bobcats struck again when Fancher delivered an RBI single to score
Xavier Solla, and Pavletich followed up with another run-scoring single to plate
Jaled Mercader.

On the mound, Pavletich set the tone early, starting for the Bobcats and holding the opposing lineup to just seven hits while striking out two.
