(Chickasha, Okla.)- The Peru State Softball Team played at Nationally Ranked #3 Oklahoma Panhandle State University on Wednesday afternoon. The Bobcats fell in the two games and are now 3-9 overall.

Game 1 (Peru State 0 – USAO 17)

The Bobcats faced a tough opponent in the game where USAO took an early lead and were able to hold off the Bobcats in game 1. Starting pitcher
Sage Issacs took the mound for the Bobcats having three strikeouts. Emily Vanatta also pitched, having two strikeouts but despite her efforts, the Drovers sealed the win.

Game 2 (Peru State 0 – USAO 17)

The Bobcats came out strong in game two with Macie Green, a standout player in the match, not only scoring a home run but also contributed notably with 2 RBIs. The Bobcats held the #3 Drovers to only four runs and seven hits.

Starting pitcher, Sidney Chubbuck, held back USAO having three strikeouts and no walks against the Drovers.
