The opening period saw the Peru State Bobcats take an early lead with a layup by
Christian Tidiane, but the Owls did not trail for long. By the end of the first period, William Woods had established a 38-31 advantage. Despite efforts to close the gap in the second period, with contributions from
Everett Stubblefield who scored a total of 14 points.
The Bobcats showed a robust team performance with key contributions from
