(Des Moines, Iowa)- The Peru State Women's Basketball team fell to the Grand View Vikings in Des Moines, Iowa on February 29^th. The Bobcats will complete their season 10-14 in the Heart of America Conference and 13-16 overall.
 
The Bobcats started out the first half strong, taking an early 3-point lead. Hailey Ingram scored 12 points in the first quarter against the Vikings after going 4/4 from the three-point line. The Bobcats got their lead up to 15 in the second quarter. Kylie Diaz had the final shot for the Bobcats as they led at half 44-38.
 
Olivia Williams started out the second half for the Bobcats with a jump shot. The Bobcats fought to keep their lead, but the Vikings took the lead after a big third quarter. In the final quarter, the Bobcats tried to keep the Vikings from expanding their lead. Hailey Ingra tallied six points with Samantha Stewart in the fourth. The Vikings took the win 86-77.
 
Hailey Ingram led the Bobcats with 20 points, also having five rebounds and one block. Samantha Stewart had 16 points with six rebounds and two steals. Maddy Duncan had 12 points with four assists and two rebounds and two steals. Kylie Diaz had 14 rebounds, also adding 10 points and two blocks. Olivia Williams tallied nine points and one rebound with Natasha Deal having nine points and six rebounds.
