(McPherson, Kan.)- The Peru State Baseball team took one from Central Christian College Tigers over the weekend of February 23 and 24 in McPherson, Kansas.
 
Game 1- Peru State 3 – Central Christian 2
 
The Bobcats scored their first run in the third inning after Garrett Pavletich had a hit to send Will Reynolds to score. In the fifth inning, Will Reynolds singled to left field to score Blake Denson. The Bobcats final score came after a Tiger error allowed Efrin Torres to reach first and sending Jacob Aberg home to score.
 
Kevin Diaz pitched four innings, only having one hit with one run but having four strikeouts. Diego Oquendo pitched three innings, being charged with two hits and one run but also having three strikeouts.
 
Game 2- Peru State 11 – Central Christian 12
 
The Bobcats scored three in the first inning after a single from Wesley Bradford singled to left field, scoring Will Reynolds. Garrett Pavletich also singled to left field scoring Diego Rivera and Wesley Bradford. In the fourth inning, Ivan Medina doubled to right center scoring Randy Jimenez and Garrett Pavletich. Efrin Torre singled to left center to score Will Reynolds and Ivan Medina. The Bobcats had a big sixth inning scoring four. Will Reynolds singled to score Randy Jimenez, Will Reynolds scored on a wild pitch. Wesley Bradford singled to score Efrin Torres and Xavier Solla.
 
Casey Ogden pitched 2.2 innings, getting charged with six hits and five runs and having four strikeouts. Garrett Pavletich pitched 1.1 innings with four hits and six runs along with one strikeout. Tobin Wingender pitched 1.1 innings having two strikeouts. Blake Denson pitched one inning with two hits and one run.
 
Game 3- Peru State 11 – Central Christian 12
 
Randy Jimenez started out game three with a homerun in the second inning. In the fourth inning, Will Reynolds send Randy Jimenez in to score. In the sixth, Will Reynolds reached first on a Tiger error, allowing Randy Jimenez to score. The Bobcats had a big seventh inning scoring six.  A single by Jackson Lynch scoring Blake Denson and Doel Pina. Will Reynolds was walked advancing Randy Jimenez to score. Garrett Pavletich singled to center, sending Jackson Lynch to score. Efrin Torress was hit by the pitch, advancing Xavier Solla to score. Doel Pina had a sacrifice fly to score Will Reynolds.
 
Josue Vega pitched three innings, getting charged with five hits and five runs having one strikeout. Brenton Pitt got charged with three Tiger hits and three runs. Garrett Pavletich pitched 1.1 innings allowing five Tiger hits and three runs.
 
Game 4- Peru State 9 – Central Christian 22
 
Gustavo Rivera scored the first run of the game for the Bobcats on a passed ball. In the third inning, Garrett Pavletich grounded out to allow Xavier Solla to score. Efrin Torres singled to center scoring Will Reynolds. Efrin Torres scored after a Tiger error allowed Blake Denson to reach first. Josue Cisnero reached first on a Tiger error, scoring Wesley Bradford. In the fifth inning Josue Cisnero singled to center allowing Wesley Bradford to score. Blake Denson singled to center, scoring Jaled Mercader in the sixth. In the final inning, Jaled Mercader singled to left, sending Ivan Medina to score, followed by Diego Rivera reaching first on an err and scoring Jackson Aberg.
 
Dylan Pavletich pitched 2.2 innings, being charged with 13 hits and 12 runs. Joshua Abels pitched two innings, allowing three hits and one run with two strikeouts. Tobin Wingender pitched one inning with four hits and four runs. Hunter Abney had four hits and five runs in his inning pitched.
