Volleyball Drops Heartbreaker at Culver
(Canton, Mo.)- The Peru State Volleyball Team played a conference match against the Culver-Stockton Wildcats on Friday, October 4
th. The Bobcats fell in a hard fought five set match. The Bobcats are now 3-5 in the Heart of America Conference and 7-13 overall.

The Bobcats started strong in the first set
Eden Moore and Raevyn Russel having three kills with Addison Schnider and
Kalyssa Fox having two as the Bobcats fought back and forth with the Wildcats. The Bobcats pulled away and won the set 25-22. In the second set, the Bobcats had a slow start finding themselves in a big deficit. Through the efforts of the Bobcats including three kills from
Kennedy Miller and two from
Kalolaine Pasikala, the Wildcats won the set, 25-16.

In the third set, the Bobcats started with a big kill from
Eden Moore. The Wildcats took an early lead.
Eden Moore had four kills as the Bobcats tried to close the gap to win the set but their efforts weren't enough as the Wildcats won the third set 25-15. The Bobcats struggled in the beginning in the fourth set. The team battled to close the gap with the Wildcats but found themselves in a 15-21 deficit. The Bobcats found momentum down 18-22 as they stopped the Wildcats and won the fourth set 25-22.
Eden Moore, Raevyn Russel and
Kennedy Miller had three kills in the set. Moore and Russel also had three blocks with Miller and Addison Schnider adding two in the fourth set. In the final set, the Bobcats went back and forth with the Wildcats. They fought till the end with Raevyn Russel having three kills and
Eden Moore and
Kalolaine Pasikala having two kills. Through their efforts, the Bobcats ultimately fell to the Wildcats 15-12.

Raevyn Russel led the Bobcats with 12 kills, 16 digs, seven assisted blocks and two services aces.
Eden Moore also had 12 kills, four digs and two assisted blocks. Addison Schnieder had six kills, six assisted blocks and two digs.
Kennedy Miller had six kills and five assisted blocks with
Kalolaine Pasikala having six kills, two service aces, two assisted blocks and two digs.

Allie Schnider had 24 assists with 13 digs in the match.
Samantha Chesley had six assists and four digs.
Ryan White had eight digs with
Emily Sherman having seven digs.
