(Parkville, MO)- The Peru State Men's Basketball team fell on the road to Park University 66-82 on Wednesday, November 15. The Bobcats are now 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the Heart of America Conference.
The Bobcats kept the game close in the first half with
David Wingett Jr. (Sr., Winnebago, NE), making three of his four 3-point shots. Wingett Jr., had 15 points in the first half with five rebounds and two blocks. Ajantae Hoga n (Jr., Lincoln, NE) wasn't far behind with 10 points and four rebounds.
Sayvon Traylor (Sr., Atlanta, GA) had seven points and added four rebounds for the Bobcats along with
Ty Griggs (Jr., Omaha, NE) having six points. The Bobcats led 38-37 going into half.
In the second half, the Bobcats started the half with a layup from
Ajantae Hogan, assisted by
Skyler Wilson (Jr., Omaha, NE).
Ajantae Hogan led the half with going 3-3 from field goals. Hogan scored eight points and added two rebounds.
David Wingett Jr., scored seven points followed by
Luke Lee (Fr., Frisco, TX) having five points. But the Bobcats couldn't find a way to stop the pirates and fell to a score of 66-82.
David Wingett Jr., led the team with 22 points with six rebounds with
Ajantae Hogan being close behind with 18 points and six rebounds.
Sayvon Traylor finished the game with seven points and five rebounds and
Ty Griggs had six points for the Bobcats
