Two Bobcat basketball players are being recognized as the Peru State Athletes of the Month for February. Junior guard Jackie Robles (Parlier, Calif.) and junior forward Kris Frazier (Cleveland) were recently noted as the honorees by Peru State athletic director Steve Schneider.
Frazier was recently named to the Heart’s All-Conference First Team. He is currently leading the team in rebounding with 8.88 boards per game and is also blocking 1.88 shots per contest which is also tops in the Heart.
Presently, Frazier is listed in six different NAIA individual national rankings: seventh in offensive rebounds per game (3.625), eighth in blocks per game (1.875), eighth in total blocks (60), 12th in total rebounds (284), 20th in rebounds per game (8.875), and 38th in defensive rebounds per game (5.250).
Schneider stated, “Congrats to both Jackie and Kris for gaining this honor as well as Heart recognition. Jackie had an important role on this year’s women’s basketball team while Kris and his teammates will continue with their season next week in KC.”
