Peru State College Athletics

Marisa Pribnow (Lincoln) and Adam Quintana (Highland, Calif.) were recently named as the Peru State Bobcat Athletes of the Month for April. The honors were announced by athletic director Steve Schneider.

For Pribnow, this is a back-to-back honor as she earned the March honor.
 
Pribnow earned the recognition for having been named as the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week and for being the top Bobcat golfer in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship held at the end of the month. Quintana was named as the April Male Athlete of the Month as he was twice named as the conference’s Pitcher of the Week.
                  
A sophomore, Pribnow won her third golfer of the week honor in the spring on April 20. Pribnow finished third in the College of St. Mary tournament and then later in the previous week, Pribnow finished tied for 17^th in the very tough Bellevue University Spring Invite.
 
In the conference tournament, Pribnow led the Bobcats to a tie for second as she tied for sixth with a two-day total of 166.
