Peru State College Athletics

Marisa Pribnow was selected as the September Bobcat Female Athlete of the Month. 

At Peru State’s final golf tournament of the fall, Pribnow shot a disappointing opening round of 88, but then rebounded with a school record 76 for 18 holes on Friday.  This effort broke the previous record of 79 which had been set last year and tied earlier in the same week that Pribnow broke the record.  For her record-setting efforts, Pribnow was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week.
 
Pribnow finished in a tie for seventh at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite that week and earlier in the week, she finished tied for ninth in Peru State’s own tournament.  Earlier in September, Pribnow was the medalist at the Graceland Invitational.
