Bre Brandt was selected as the female Bobcat athlete of the month for October.

Brandt is being recognized for October after having been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Hitter of the Week on Oct. 7. She led the Bobcats to two wins on the road over the previous weekend as Peru State swept Stephens College in non-conference play and then gained a big win over Central Methodist University in HAAC action.

Currently, Brandt leads the team in hitting averaging 2.8 kills per set and has 322 kills total. In the HAAC, Brandt is currently third in total kills and eighth in kills per set. In addition, Brandt is 14th in the HAAC in total digs with 290.
