Kristen Bodyk (Paris, Ontario, Canada) has been selected as the March Female Peru State Athlete of the Month. Bobcat athletic director Steve Schneider announced the honor on Tuesday, April 2.
During the last week of March, Bodyk was nearly perfect at the plate while helping lead the Bobcat softball team to a perfect 4-0 start to begin HAAC play.
Bodyk hit .846 in the four games (11 for 13) with seven extra base hits – three home runs, three doubles, and one triple – while tallying 18 RBI and scoring seven runs. Her slugging percentage was an outlandish 1.923.
