(Peru, Neb.) – The Peru State Bobcat men's basketball team signed their third recruit for the 2013-14 season.  Bobcat head coach Troy Katen announced that David Leitao III from Columbia, Mo., recently signed his letter of intent to join the 'Cats this fall.
 
Leitao III, a recent graduate of Rock Bridge High School, is a 6'5” forward.   The Bruins finished the season 18-9 with Leitao averaging seven points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots per game.   Rock Bridge lost in the district championship game to Hickman HS 66-62.
 
Leitao is the son on David and Joyce Leitao.   His father is currently an assistant for the University of Missouri Tigers basketball team.
