(Peru, Neb.) – Peru State College has announced its cheerleading try-outs for individuals interested in becoming a Bobcat cheerleader for the 2012-13 year.

Chelsea Allgood has noted that the try-out date is scheduled for Sunday, March 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Al Wheeler Activity Center (AWAC) on the College's campus.
Try-outs are open to all who are interested in becoming a Bobcat cheerleader. Tumbling and/or stunting experience is preferred but not required. Those trying out will perform a cheer and dance that will be taught during open gyms. Open gyms are scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, and Sunday, March 18, in the AWAC.
If a candidate cannot make it to open gyms or try-outs, they may learn the materials via DVD and submit a try-out video to Coach Allgood at Peru State College, PO Box 10, 600 Hoyt Street, Peru, NE 68421-0010.
