One of the Peru State’s most prolific distance runners, Jack Weyers is a member of the NAIA Cross Country Hall of Fame, enshrined in 1984. During his career, he compiled a phenomenal slate of successes in cross country – highlighted by his fourth-place national finish in 1970-and track. Weyers, a rare four-time All – American, led the Bobcat harriers to annual state conference and District crowns, and four consecutive appearances at the NAIA national meet. The Sterling, Nebraska native graduated from PSC in 1971.
