Connie Viner –Blank was a dominating basketball player for four seasons at Peru State. Her 1, 1589 career points and 339 assists were both the second highest marks in Bobcat history at the time of her induction. The hustling Emerson, Iowa, native was named to the Omaha World-Herald first Team All-State College Squad. She also became the first Bobcat basketball player, male or female, to be named a GTE Academic All-American.
