Bob Buettgenbach was an outstanding member of three highly successful. Bobcat basketball teams from 1959-62 for Coach Jack Mcintire. The Beatrice native averaged 15.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game throughout his career. Buettgenbach played on two teams that qualified for the NAIA National Tournament.
Buettgenbach earned NAIA Honorable Mention honors following his senior season. After graduating from PSC, he was a high school teacher, coach, and administrator for ten years. Later he was a special agent for the FBI for twenty years.
