Marshall Klontz (Auburn, Wash.) has been selected as the March Peru State Male Athlete of the Month. Bobcat athletic director Steve Schneider announced the honor on Tuesday, April 2.

Earlier in March, Klontz threw a no-hitter in his first-ever HAAC game appearance against Graceland.  Klontz was nearly perfect having had one walk while striking out six YellowJackets.  It is believed that this was the first no-hitter for a Bobcat pitcher since 1997.
