Devin Adams (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) has been nominated by as an NAIA finalist for the Cliff Harris Award. The list of nominees from across NCAA Div. II, Div. III, and the NAIA were announced this week by the Little Rock Touchdown Club and Wright Lindsey Jennings, LLP.
Adams was a first team NAIA All-American selection. In addition, he was also named the 2021 Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year this past season.
In nine games this past season, Adams registered 43 total tackles which was fourth on the team. He led the team in sacks with seven for 44 yards. In addition, he led the 'Cats in tackles for loss with 17.5 for 72 yards.

The award is presented to the nation's top small college defensive player representing more than 5,000 defensive players from almost 500 NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA colleges and universities. In addition to the Cliff Harris Award overall winner, the top vote getter from each division will also be announced.
This year's recipient of the Cliff Harris Award will be announced on December 28. The winner will be recognized at the annual awards banquet, hosted by the Little Rock Touchdown Club on January 14, 2022.
